Lottery for the 2-5 bedroom units will be held on February 7, 2020 in the main Office.(see below for details) The 1 bedroom apartment wait list will also begin February 7th.(see below for details) We will also be attending UC Davis Housing Day on February 6, 2020, come say hi and gather more leasing information.
LOTTERY/WAIT LIST DETAILS
The available 2, 3, 4, and 5-bedroom apartments will be distributed lottery style. Those wishing to participate may place up to 1 ticket in each available floor plan. The tickets will be available February 7th in our office from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Participants must be present to enter the lottery.
If your name is drawn expect the following:
1. opportunity to tour a model.
2. be prepared to complete the application.
3. be prepared to sign the lease.
4. security deposit and application fees will be due.
We plan on calling those drawn from the lottery as early as February 8th but it could take a few days to complete the process. Once contacted the leasing process moves quickly, an immediate decision should be anticipated by those persons selected.
One Bedroom Apartment
Wait list will begin February 7th 9:00 am in our office. A $100 refundable deposit is required to hold your place on the wait list. Model available Monday-Friday during office hours.

General Leasing Information
Sycamore Lane Apartments is located across the street from UC Davis and was completely renovated in 2005. Our residents think that our increased energy efficiency and sound proofing are a great result of the recent renovations. Another common comment is that management is friendly and responsive and that maintenance is quick to fix problems reported by residents.
The Lease – Sycamore Lane Apartments uses a 31-page detailed lease that is both easy to read and quick to complete. We do not offer individual leases, often referred to as “by the bed”, all our leases are Joint and Several. Subleasing is allowed but should involve the office staff. The leases are 12-month leases with the vast majority beginning in September.
Wait list/lottery – At Sycamore Lane we use both a traditional wait list and a lottery system. The 1-bedroom apartments remain on a traditional first come first serve style wait list date and times will vary from year to year. The multi-bedroom units are determined via a lottery held in our office on time and date to be determined each year. The lottery and wait list generally begin the same day and they are held in our office.
Roommates – Sycamore Lane Apartments does allow doubling up at our facility in most apartments, the 5 bedroom is limited to 8 residents due to square footage constraints. All roommates are required to be on the lease.
